Maybe what is even worse in a way, is the state of many developed countries where all the coruption is well documented in media, everyone knows what is going on and yet it does not really move people. I guess until you are in "good enough" state you are not forced to really fight.

Would be great to have this kind of internet in box but for 90s or 00s internet.

Looks really great! I never imagined that we will be "stealing" design from Chinese companies.

Hi All, author here. I'm little bit surprised to find my blog here. If you have any question feel free to ask!

Nice project! You state that your looking for someone to opensource it. Whats keeping you from just gitlab pushing your stuff? :) Would possibly be interested in recreating this.

Time, I would like to polish all the stuff a do it properly, but have not time for that. Also there are still some things TBD.

Open source happens sometimes because people are willing to just git push things that are half finished or even garbage. You should not feel bad about doing it!

Until all the requests for help start coming in..

In my experience you have to be very successful to get anyone to pay attention at all.

Yes, exactly I remeber when I was younger and experimenting with lucid dreaming, when I spotted something weird I checked my hands and told myself "ten fingers, not a dream" every time. And trully when I was dreaming my hand was deformed, so if I paid attention to it I could start lucid dreaming. So maybe we are not that much off with NN

How did you forcefully lucid dream?

You don't really forcefully lucid dream, you learn techniques that help you determine whether you are dreaming or not.

Some examples are not being able to turn a light on or off (because lighting in a dream is often fixed) .. or trying to focus on text (often in dreams you will read words or numbers, but it's your brain telling you what something says .. if you actually try and focus on text it often is just squiggles)

Once you start to apply these techniques in dreams, the real trick is not waking yourself up once you realize you're dreaming.

It actually does not matter what work looks like the important part are the results. I think that's generaly one of the worst problem at job. People being "busy" without any results and people that seems to calmly delivere. Usually management favors the first kind as it feels like no struggle no work is being done.

As I see it the problem is also in approach to big new projects. Usually you have long careful preparation to build something about what you have no clear idea how to do it, since it was not build before. But investors, in this case usually government, wants to see some classical project, with schedule / waterfall but in reality it should be more, as what mentioned SpaceX is doing. Which as I understand is fast iteration on unclear solution with clear goal. But I can understand that investors prefer to have ordinary projects as it is more classic approach. The issue is the way it works every time is the same. Project starts everything is fine. Some small delays on milestones but OK, then someone finds out that state of project is actually much worse than expected. Director is fired and the cycle starts again. On the end there is somehow working somehow done project.

It's not just investors, it's government too. Remember they are stewards of money taken from the people; if they were to give it to some crazy person who turned out to be a sham, it would be very bad (and that happens too).

Hi, thats amazing! I was trying if it would be possible to find the software or the cables somewhere hidden on web. But it's looks like there is nothing. This was actually the motivation for the blogpost in case someone want to the same thing, so he can get the informations.

I think the point that the energy needed for mining is artificialy by design hihg/inefficient. As I understand some other coins are much more efficient.

This is backwards. The energy needed for mining is the only reason the product (Bitcoin) can exist and make any sense.

And that's one of the reasons why bitcoin is an utter failure.
