My parents purchased a Samsung laptop in 2014. It came with an Intel 4th-generation (Haswell) i5 quad-core CPU and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. Although it’s over 10 years old now, it still faithfully meets my parents' needs. All they need was just upgrading the OS to Windows 10. Soon, support for Windows 10 will end, but since Windows 11 is such an unstable bloatware with random features, it seems we're going to upgrade it to Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC instead of Windows 11. This would have been unimaginable in the past. For example, using a 1994 laptop in 2004 would have been such a pain in the ass.
