That's a people problem, not an AI problem. People spend so much time debating overcomplicating early system design (API v.s. event driven, etc.). AI is pretty good at generating what you want if you tell it your LOE and resources.

I am going to play devil's advocate here and say that so many processes that can be automated with AI are still untouched.

I'm not making a statement about the quality of businesses funded, but rather the fact there is a lot of opportunity.

And if a company already in that segment or an adjacent segment sees an opportunity, they will throw a few devs on it, sell it to their existing customer base and crush the little startup.

Most of these startups that have any technical people at most have a couple.

sorry, agent to agent protocol or agent to env

Do you have a portfolio site of sample projects or case studies? Do you want us to critique that?

would really appreciate any feedback or critique on it

No doubt about the zero sum game in terms of a possible path in terms of wealth distribution. My question is what will be the function of the "sum part" as a society builds all technologies to 'completion' which is defined as when the utility of any new technology approaches zero because there is nothing 'valuable' or 'new to invent'.

A different argument is that as technology improves to infinity, wealth also becomes ubiquitous and potentially infinite. So even though no new technology is invented that is valuable, there is infinite wealth through abundance.

It seems to me that the primary driver of which world we end up in is whether humanity is able to become multi-planetary. Otherwise, resources become a constraint and instead of discovering new existing resources, humanity can only create value by inventing new technology.

These are not strong opinions.

Gene Roddenberry‘s Star Trek universe was a humanist post-scarcity society. There were a number of thinkers that informed that vision.

I think you are thinking in a meaningful way deserving of exploration. Our society as organized today isn’t ordained or divine. There are many cracks in the armor, and it’s likely that things will evolve in one way or another.

It’s hard to talk about because people cling strongly to what they want to believe and have trouble thinking about what could be.

Make it a game like the carol the robot class at stanford.

Can you explain why to png? why not to markdown?

Oh, I totally think markdown is better than converting to png and then doing OCR. Maybe I did not use a good HTML to markdown converter. The HTML documents are really long and the markdown converter broke down a few times. But as I mentioned, this is probably on me as I did not do a good job of finding a better HTML to markdown converter.

That's cool. What's your motivation here? Just to build cool stuff, or is this a business? No agenda just wondering.

Thanks! We started as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on after-school programming clubs and high school hackathons. We were working with high schoolers across the country and noticed that teenagers lacked the necessary financial infrastructure to run in-person events. For example, receiving money from a sponsor to buy pizza. We built HCB to give them essential tools like a donation page, invoicing system, and debit cards.

Since then, it's grown to a platform that supports not only high school hackathons, but nearly any nonprofit-related mission, including robotic teams and local food banks. We're still an educational nonprofit centered around high school coding clubs, but HCB is a tool we maintain to better empower these high schoolers.

Honestly though... let's take Copilot as an example. if they're good with Copilot, why wouldn't you just hire them and let them be good with copilot? We all just need to accept that the value of memorizing syntax will trend to zero.

LlamaIndex docs, LangChain docs, Youtube vids on intro to neural networks, tutorials on RAG, cross encoders, etc. should keep you busy for 20-40 hours at least
