Problem is that the USD factories don’t provide enough jobs for the US population

Neither will _modern_ manufacturing plants. Regardless, unemployment has not been a big problem in the US so far, and if you say that the recent mass gig/under employment is no longer sufficient for (american dream|middle class lifestyle|male ego), then the sweatshops and coal mines won't be better at all.

The global demand for USD puts downward pressure on the price of US goods.

Unemployment is roughly 4%.

It doesn't matter. Even if zero new jobs are created, it still represents a capital investment in robots and lights-off factories to increase national security going forwards.

Then why allow over 10 million illegal immigrants?

The pinkie and ring finger share a tendon - this is why they are weaker than the other fingers.

Or, at least that’s how it was explained to me as a kid learning to play the double bass. The standard technique is to use those two fingers together to press the string on the upper part of the fingerboard where the most strength is required.

Nitpick: Only one candidate was chosen by voters in the primary.

The other was selected by party leaders after the primary was over.

Likely they need the engagement numbers to show to investors.

Though it’s hard to imagine how huge their next round would have to be, given what they’ve raised already.

There are a ton of Swift /SwiftUI tutorials out there for every new technology.

The problem is, they’re all blogspam rehashes of the same few WWDC talks. So they all have the same blindspots and limitations, usually very surface level.

Interesting. Until this update, I would have said Claude was the worst yes man of the bunch.

And Swift compiler crashes aren’t even rare. You get used to it and learn how to track down the code that caused it.

I think I’ve seen a C compiler crash once or maybe twice, ever.

The fact that a compiler is crashing really makes me shiver. If the compiler is crashing because of unexpected combinations, then what about the generated code ?

There were also issues in the generated code, yeah.

But to be fair that front has been hugely enhanced; it’s been a very long while since I’ve since the Swift compiler crash (and I do weird stuff too).

This kind of fraud existed even before online college became so popular.

Around 2014-2015 we had to start reporting the “last day of attendance” or participation for any student who failed a course. Kind of a pain when you prefer to treat your university students as adults and not take attendance.

But you already trust your client with all the private keys and message plaintexts for your account.

I struggle to see why I should trust it with those things but not the account password.

Not necessarily, you could give restricted access to a client

my google account has way more power over me than whatever i ever wrote in matrix in my life (ever, ever)

There’s a lot that sucks about publishing in security and privacy. But wow this article makes me super grateful that we are still allowed to write attack papers and critique famous works.
