Well both Twitpic and Fbook allow mobile uploads, but my question is more about the digital camera companies. It would be awesome to have a button on my high quality digital camera that says "post to facebook". This would require the cameras having a bit more hardware (internet connect, small key pad, etc.), but if I think I would pay $50 more for the social networking feature on a high quality camera.

Nikon and Canon put wifi into a few cameras but they didn't sell very well and were discontinued. EyeFi does what you are talking about.

I guess I have always looked at Amazon as a portal to buy other merchants' merchandise. ZTail is doing that.

Do you think it is in ZTail's best interest to add Amazon? I read that Amazon does not pay for referrals anymore.

The truth is, I posted the article right after I read the TC article, and was super hyped about it. I thought to myself: "For once, I might actually buy some stuff from ZTail as opposed to Amazon" (Big deal for me). Looking back, I agree that this idea is certainly interesting but not revolutionary.

Where does the article or the ZTail site show indication of linking to Amazon's products?

I have also read that Amazon does pay for referrals to buy goods anymore.

yup, did not load for 20 minutes just now

I agree that MySpace is a great tool for bands. I am in a band and actively use MySpace. This article is in no way trying to knock MySpace (I hope it was not perceived that way). I am just stating some facts that I thought some people would find surprising.

why? it works

I did not just look at 100-101M. I looked at 100-110M, ~200k from each interval of one million. I concurrently ran 10 threads looking at intervals of one million. I did not include this in the code because I wanted to keep it as short as possible for the blog entry.

That is correct. I found that all MySpace music profiles have that pattern. I think MySpace does it.

Phil Spector (song writer, producer)

Will Glaser (music genome project)

I use google reader as well. When I slack off and end up with 1000+ posts to read, I just ctrl+F for subjects I want to read about.
