Here in the EU it’s great news if this means HBO contents are coming on Netflix. WBD has had so fare the absolute worse policy for international rights distribution for their shows, with policies varying wildly from season to season.

The entirety of shopify was down too for 30 minutes.

Sad that a long time self-hosted writer conceded to Substack. The tyranny of convenience and distribution strikes again.

What people are doing with AI in terms of polluting the collective brain reminds of what you could do with a chemical company in the 50s and 60s before the EPA was established. Back then Nixon (!!!) decided it wasn't ok that companies could cut costs by hurting the environment. Today the riches Western elites are all behind the instruments enabling the mass pollution of our brains, and yet there is absolutely noone daring to put a limit to their capitalistic greed. It's grim, people. It's really grim.

“If you’re not happy you can sell your shares”

IBM is still alive and kicking well, and definitively more relevant than Xerox or DEC. You are completely misconstruing Jobs’ point to justify the current AI datacenter tulip fever.

Not very on brand, is it

The fact that these criminals are able to install themselves at the heart of the US administrative machine with zero legal repercussions is a terrible reminder of how utterly damaged the US judicial system is. This is nothing short of a catastrophe and these people deserve a Nuremberg trial.

Sometimes justice takes time.

Honest question: Are you referring to those who are stealing or mis-appropriating taxpayer funds or those that are discovering them?

Hopefully this will make into some useful feature in the ecosystem and not contribute to having just more terrible slop. Apple has saved itself from the destruction of quality and taste that these model enabled, I hope it stays that way.

>> This demonstrates as a proof-of-concept that profitable, real-world autonomous exploitation is technically feasible, a finding that underscores the need for proactive adoption of AI for defense.

Mmm why?! This reads as a non sequitur to me…

It would be extremely helpful to smart contract devs, to have an inexpensive automated tool that's really good at finding exploits of their code.
