Anything other than programming. Being human is so much more than programming. Division of Labor has sucked the human in me. Learning philosophy from Epicurus, Socrates, Kant, Confucius, Marx has helped me achieve a new perspective on how I should really live my life. Now I think can do better in dealing with people.

As for the "concern" topic. I believe it's an evidence that you have to do something about it. But first, one must seek out the truth just as Socrates advised us millennias ago. Living comfortably is just not possible in an unexamined life because we are by nature rational beings. You can probably ignore, as they say, ignorance is bliss, but only until it hits.
No, it's because they'd gain more profit by firing you. Most (if not all) business are only there for the profit; it was never about making the world a better place. If you disagree, think again.
Karl Marx have put a great deal of time thinking about this. He's ideas are the basis of the Soviet Union. I believe he's analysis of our current system/economy is a real mind-opener and a must-read. Here's a quick intro on it:
Imo, this is the system we need + human humility (e.g. to prevent corruption). Implementing it tho, will need everyone's cooperation; hence my writing of this comment.
This is where Jesus comes in: We must get everyone mature and not be greedy.
Also my favorite, Epicurus: Epicureanism: Having enough wealth that is enough to get you your Freedom is enough. More that that won't make you happy. Instead you'll need two more things: Friends and "time for Self understanding".

This and positively probably Marxism (maybe not revolution, but effective destruction of big corp capitalists is a must). After capitalism is destroyed. The first two paragraphs I wrote will be needed.
