We at IRIS.TV are thrilled to share that we're now looking to expand our team with data/systems engineers!
We're looking for candidates with some significant Clojure experience, who are self-directed and creative problem-solvers.
We're hoping to find people who want to work with us long-term, on a contract basis.
We can work with contractors internationally; details depend on where you are, but we're already a globally distributed team. We cannot sponsor visas at this time.
You would need to operate with some overlap with Los Angeles time, particularly our daily meeting at 18:00 UTC (10 AM Pacific).
We have "big" data today, and much bigger to come... we are doing this with Clojure (and Kafka Streams, Spark, Cassandra, K8s).
Our current tech team is 5 engineers, 2 Ops/SREs, and 1 data scientist. We're processing billions of video views per day across hundreds of publishers.
