That's why I just don't buy their games. I really enjoyed Far Cry 3 and would really like to get the rest of the series, but just can't put up with their account system even at discounted prices.
I thought all the rolling stock was owned by a different company to the ones running the actual franchises. Which is separate from controlling the timetable. Although very confusing.
I've found that, it took me a few times to switch over. But I've found that even when I can't find something on DuckDuckGo when I try use Google I don't find it either. I wonder if that is now because I haven't regularly used in a few years and Google isn't able to guess what I'm trying to look for.
For me it varies a lot, I think it's very easy to think you are working when you are not. But also easy to work and not realise it.
I think a lot about Joel Spolsky's post [1] on the subject. It depends on what you are doing but I think in software development you need to look at effectiveness rather than time spent.
Where is the interview? Link is about history of Chris Sawyer's works but doesn't actually contain an interview. Still fascinating though, really enjoyed his games.
Sawyer is such a recluse the title got my hyped. An interview with him would be gold. I guess the author knew that too and decided to "fill the market demand with a substitute product".
One of the mods must have changed the post title without listening to the audio or reading the transcript (which contains around half the story). There's a note near the end of the audio about how Chris won't do interviews except via an intermediary.
