here is what works for me - dedicated non progressive glasses, antiglare coating - no high contrast colors, solarized light, wheat background - avoid dark background - redshift for the late work - constant monitor light, no pwm - flicker free environment (some leds are horrible)

I have color laser mfc-9340cdw. It has outdated firmware version za1.10. There is newer firmware version zb1.10q dated 9.7.23. It looks like there is no automatic update. Just to be sure, I have created a static dhcp entry for it on a router with misconfigured default gateway.

this is crashing (black screen) my firefox on iphone

I think I am not the only one who is missing negative filters - check the log excluding audit messages.

If I type "download firefox" in edge/bing, the first thing at the top is foxload.com with a low contrast Ad marker. When I ask edge/bing "is foxload.com safe", the very fist thing says: "Safe Browsing status for Foxload.com is Unsafe."

what do you mean by natively? I am using iway and can clearly use ipv6. Most of the whatismyip sites give me my ipv6.

Depends on the location. If iWay does have a POP in your network, they can offer native IPv6 because their DHCP does support it. If they don't have a POP, they often (need to) use Swisscom to "proxy" your packages (like Crossover7). And because the Swisscom DHCP Server can't assign IPv6 leases currently, your router needs to tunnel IPv6 packages in IPv4 packages to the infrastructure of iWay.

It is internal joke, you 'forgot' your password, so you get something like 'Spring2021' from IT as password reset. Now you pick a target account, trigger account lockout. Most of the time, the target is confused and gets a combo, account unlock and password reset. Now the IT guy who does password reset ... uses seasonal passwords which of course can't be changed for 24 hours.

I just wonder how someone like Jamie Zawinski would score.

same here. When I was looking for a new laptop support for 32GB RAM was a key (no mac for me). I have 4 vms, windows with dev rig, linux with django/postgres, linux with oracle and osx. For vitalization I run VMWare Workstation patched with unlocker. The only pain comes from osx, no 3d acceleration and since upgrade to ElCaptain, there is no way to disable vsync, so it is ugly. The missing 3d support can be very annoying - you can not use "debug view hierarchy" in xcode. Saving VMs to external disk for backup. Snapshoting before any risky update/patch/whatever.
