I wonder how you get the NYtimes to discuss a preprint?

Some universities have a press or media outlet which generates press releases and handles media relations.

But usually only upon acceptance for publication (i.e., an editor of a scientific journal has decided to accept the manuscript, after peer review and usually multiple revisions based on said review). Preprint papers might as well be some crank’s blog posts. (Not implying that this is the case here, I just find it odd that the nytimes take it as is.)

Totally unrelated to the paper itself, but is there a GitHub page template to showcase a paper/project as they have?

I keep seeing these type of webpages to promote papers but haven't found the template yet.

You can see the source of the github pages site on github: https://github.com/rese1f/StableVideo/tree/web

It seems they forked from somebody else and then changed the content to match their paper.

I'd love to see your style. I agree that the default one is not very pleasing, but I like the skills to make a good style.

It's very much one for journals. Here is one from my first paper https://ibb.co/373QMfV. Actually here I think the one on the left is matplotlib and the one on the right is Mathematica... I basically like a bold box and serif fonts
