Very interesting read, I browsed the author's website and it says he is a independent security researcher and self employed, a real question, I am interesting in knowing he survives just reporting bugs, when there is no surety a bug could be found every month for a living....
We're flexible, with folks in 3 different countries outside the US. The biggest thing is that we both feel confident that you'd be able to work productively in a semi-autonomous way. A lot of this is being able to self-correct and adjust, e.g., if an agreed upon plan isn't working, then recognizing this and adjusting the plan, instead of continuing down the original path.
