It's very hard to find anything other than half saying AI is in a bubble, and we will pop any day now, and the other half declaring AGI by 2029, when a new revolution will begin. If you follow the hard science and not the money, you can see we're somewhere in-between these two takes. AI datacenters requiring new power plants is unsustainable for long-term growth. Meanwhile, we have LLMs accepting bullshit tasks and completing them. This is very hard to ignore.
Bullshit tasks are the modern TPS reports. Tasks that create no real value to anyone, but are necessary because management likes to think it is progress.
