Regardless of what you think of the ethics of pirating, they are completely different things. Meta never ran a tracker. It's like the difference between being a drug user vs. a drug dealer. (And I'm not taking a stance on drugs either.) There's just no comparison with Meta here.

and one could argue that what Meta does is way worse, given that they seek to extremely monetize and exploit the intellectual property of others.
