Aarhus is Denmark's second largest city. It has a great university, beautiful surroundings and a thriving startup community. Also Danes are good English speakers.

I regularly visit from London. While I have yet to explore the startup community, I do love the surroundings. My Danish is terrible (but slowly improving!) and it definitely helps that almost everyone speaks English. I believe English is taught in schools early, and TV and movies are subtitled rather than dubbed over.

I believe Google also have an office here in Aabogade.

I'm looking to move, find work or work remotely in Aarhus but Brexit has thrown a spanner in the works.

Any hints to give me a head start on exploring the startup community here?

The problem with Aarhus is that is very boring and dull, and the problem with Denmark, more in general, is that is very expensive it has no interesting nature (rather flat)

Copenhagen is awesome tho (but rather expensive); and in provincial towns the life is very quiet, perfect for families.
